PATTERN MAKING

Review and interpret garment design sketches for pattern development

Develop technical patterns from designs

Create samples

Take garment measurements and grade sizes

Support garment fitting and sizing requirements

Adjust patterns based on client feedback and sample fittings

Digitise and finalise patterns

CUT & SEW

Lay and cut fabric according to patterns

Oversee fabric cutting to minimize waste

Monitor sewing machine setup and adjustments for different fabric types

Assemble pieces

Sew garment sections

Ensure precise seam allowances and finishes

Coordinate garment components

Add trims, buttons, and labels

iron & pack

Prepare items for ironing

Iron using correct temperature for each fabric

Smooth out wrinkles and finish details

Fold garments neatly

Pack items into polybags to keep them clean and protected

Prepare orders for delivery

QUALITY CONTROL

Inspect fabrics and trims before production

Check stitching and sizing

Perform quality checks during the cut & sew process to meet client standards

Flag defects and request corrections

Approve final garments for shipment

All our partners meet Portuguese legal requirements and undergo internal audits to ensure ethical and sustainable practices. Most, also hold certifications like GOTS and OEKO-TEX. Others, choose to invest directly in their workers’ wellbeing or environmental improvements.
